Together we...

Expect Change in the lives of others

in Lancaster and Fairfield County. Help us in our mission to 'meet human needs without discrimination.'

Welcome to The Salvation Army in Lancaster and Fairfield County, whose history dates back to 1865 when a dynamic Methodist minister took to London's slums to champion the poor and neglected.  The organization's founder, William Booth, began a movement that outlasted his lifetime and changed the face of philanthropy.

Serving locally since 1900, The Salvation Army in Lancaster and Fairfield County provides clothing, food, utility bill assistance, adult day services for seniors and disabled adults, Christmas assistance, meals and many other services to families and people throughout our local communities.

Anyone who walks through our door is served and received with open arms.
