Monetary Donations

Monetary gifts are an excellent way to provide The Salvation Army with the immediate funds necessary to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people we serve. These donations include checks, money orders, and credit card donations, which can be given through our secured online donation site, through the mail, or by phone.

Benefits to you: By making a cash donation to The Salvation Army, you are able to claim a charitable deduction in the year you make the gift. If you cannot utilize the entire deduction in that year, deductions may be carried over for an additional five years.

Donations by Mail

Please mail checks or money orders made payable to The Salvation Army to:
Sharing is Caring
The Salvation Army
P.O. Box 517
Lancaster, OH 43130-0517

Please do not send cash via the mail. Checks or money orders are a safer method to send a contribution by mail.

Donations by Telephone

To make a donation by credit card, call (740) 687-1921. Please have your credit card information ready when you call.

Online Donations

While making a secured online donation to The Salvation Army, your gift can be designated for the benefit of a specific program or service, or for The Salvation Army's general use and purposes in your area. You can specify where you want your money to go and how you would like it used at the time of your donation.

Additionally, through The Salvation Army's online form you can also make a gift in memory of someone, in honor of someone or even set up an ongoing gift.

To make a contribution via The Salvation Army's online donation facility, please click on the "Donate Now" link located in the left-hand navigation bar on this page.

Online Red Kettle

Another great way to support The Salvation Army in the online arena is to participate in the Online Red Kettle program (www.onlineredkettle.com). We encourage you to visit this site, and consider how you can sponsor an online kettle, join others that have sponsored an online kettle, have online competitions among team kettles, and the like. It's a fun, convenient and community-building way to help The Salvation Army.

Regardless of how you choose to provide support to The Salvation Army, we sincerely Thank You for your contribution!
