Quick Facts

Each year, The Salvation Army of Fairfield County provides more than $1.1 million in service to residents of Fairfield County.  In 2015, The Salvation Army:

    Provided 5,069 days of care to seniors in need of socialization, supervision and assistance during the day as part of our Samaritan Center for Adult Day Services.  (The Samaritan Center serves residents of Fairfield, Hocking and Perry Counties)

    Distributed food to 1,575 individuals; 3,072 toys and 3,294 articles of clothing to local families and children as part of our Christmas Cheer Campaign

    Provided children and teen group activities to 1,335 youth in our community including 496 hours of music instruction

    Served 8,381 meals and 10,989 snacks to children and adults in Fairfield County.

   To date in 2016, our Social Ministries program has provided service to 15,217 individuals, a more than 200% increase over the previous year.  6,133 individuals have visited our the Food Pantry, which provides a three-day supply of food for those in need.  This equals more than 55,000 meals!
