The Salvation Army in Lancaster and Fairfield County is under the leadership of Captains Bryan and Laura DeMichael, who were appointed as Corps Commanding Officers in June 2014. The DeMichaels’ come from extensive Salvation Army backgrounds, dating back five generations. Fairfield County is the DeMichaels’ fourth Worship and Service Center in command as a married team.
Captain Bryan DeMichael is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts degree in public relations and a graduate of Malone University with a master of arts degree in church administration and leadership. Captain Laura DeMichael is a graduate of The Salvation Army’s School for Officers Training with an associate’s degree in occupational leadership. Both Bryan and Laura received their ordination as Salvation Army officers from The Salvation Army’s School for Officers Training in Suffern, NY.
The DeMichaels’ have one daughter—Madison--and are proud to call Lancaster home.
